About deX Premium Decking
deX Premium Decking has been developed to provide the appearance of premium decking without the common maintenance concerns of timber products. Its innovative mineral-core technology creates a highly stable board that resists movement, moisture absorption, warping, and splintering.
Unlike many traditional WPC decking products, deX Premium contains no timber in the core composition, helping deliver greater dimensional stability and improved long-term performance in changing weather conditions. The ASA capped surface provides additional resistance against UV exposure, colour fade, stains, and surface wear.
Reversible Composite Decking Design
Each deX Premium board is reversible, allowing you to choose between two contemporary surface finishes to suit your outdoor design. This gives greater flexibility across patios, terraces, balconies, garden decking, and commercial landscaping projects while maintaining a clean, seamless appearance.
Easy Installation
deX Premium uses a powder-coated aluminium clip system positioned between the boards to create a clean, professional-looking deck finish without the need to screw directly through the board surface. The durable clip system provides consistent spacing, secure fixing, and a sleek contemporary appearance across the deck area.
Boards should be installed on joists spaced at a maximum of 350mm centres with suitable 3mm expansion gaps at board ends. Double joists are recommended where two board ends meet to ensure proper support and long-term stability.
The aluminium clip system also helps promote airflow and drainage between boards while maintaining a tidy, uniform finish throughout the installation.
Low Maintenance Composite Decking
deX Premium Decking is designed for minimal ongoing maintenance. Unlike timber decking, there is no need for staining, sealing, or painting.
For routine care:
- Sweep regularly to remove debris
- Wash occasionally with warm soapy water
- Pressure wash on low power if required
